‘We Built This City’ exhibition

We were delighted to co-curate ‘We Built This City’ – an exhibition at Bradford Industrial Museum which runs until 2 March 2025.

The exhibition was planned to celebrate our 150 year anniversary. You can learn more about our history and meet key people behind the planning, designing and building of Bradford from 1874 to the present day. Explore some of Bradford’s historic and iconic buildings and discover more about the work of architects and surveyors, and the tools of their trade.

The exhibition is both informative and interactive. It’s guaranteed to be a fun visit – whether you’re a professional working in our sector, or a family looking for a trip out.

Find out more about the exhibition at the Bradford Museums website.

150 years of BSAS: pop-up mobile display

To support the main exhibition, we’ve created a pop-up mobile exhibition which you’ll be able to view at various venues across the region in the coming months. This display gives lots more information about the history of the society, its members and presidents, and the imposing buildings which are such an important part of Bradford’s history. You can view each panel of the display by clicking on the images below.

Check our Events page for more information about locations of both the main exhibition and the mobile pop-up exhibition.
